Job Title:
DRIVER/GENERAL MAINTENANCE PERSON
Details:
We are looking to recruit a full-time (8am to 5pm Monday to Friday) Driver/General Maintenance Person to support our workshop and maintain our branch facilities.

The job involves working mainly outdoors and duties include cleaning and general yard maintenance, loading and unloading of heavy goods, collection and delivery of machinery.

This is a customer-facing role. The successful applicant will be reliable and flexible with good communication skills and a professional approach to tasks set.
Qualifications:


A full, clean driving licence with the qualification to tow a trailer is essential.

Experience of working in an agricultural environment/ operating machinery would be a strong advantage, as would previous experience towing trailers.

N.B. This role is physically demanding and involves a significant amount of manual handling.

Job Title:
PARTS PERSON
Details:
This is a busy, varied role that requires a flexible approach to working hours (with a requirement to be on call out of hours on a rota basis). You will ideally have previous experience in a similar retail, customer-facing role, preferably in the agricultural/horticultural industry.

However, we would also consider applications from candidates with a desire to develop a career in agriculture through an apprenticeship after completing a satisfactory probationary period.

Duties include supplying parts and sundries to internal and external customers, data input, administration and maintaining retail showroom area.

APPRENTICE SERVICE TECHNICIAN (GROUNDSCARE)
Details:
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person keen to work towards achieving a work-based apprenticeship; you must be willing to attend College on block release.

You will need to be eager to learn, with good communication skills and a "can do" approach to tasks set. An understanding of how machines work would be an advantage.

Duties will include preparing machinery for delivery, testing, diagnosing and fault finding, repair and maintenance of groundscare machinery. You will also have administration responsibilities.

Job Title:
SERVICE MANAGER
Details:
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional, preferably with previous management experience and technical knowledge gained within the agricultural/horticultural industry, to manage a team of Service Technicians.

The successful applicant will have responsibility for managing departmental performance in line with financial budget objectives. They will have excellent communication skills, lead by example and require high standards of performance from their team. Providing excellent customer service and developing new customer relationships will be of paramount importance.

Although desired, previous experience in the agricultural industry is not essential, as product/systems training will be provided but competence in Microsoft Office is essential. The opportunity to work towards an ILM qualification is also available.

A full driving licence is essential for this post as is a flexible approach to working hours.

A competitive salary plus performance related bonuses, contributory company pension scheme and company sick pay scheme is offered together with the use of a company vehicle.

Relocation expenses would be available for the right candidate.

On the back of increased sales, and the Company’s commitment to ensuring excellent after-sales support to its customers, we are looking to recruit an additional Agricultural Service technician for our busy Kennett workshop.

Ideally, you will have c. 5 years’ experience servicing and repairing tractors/combines (AGCO product experience is not essential as manufacturer training will be provided).

However, consideration would also be given to an "all rounder" with experience of working on machines outside of the agricultural industry.

You will pride yourself on your professionalism. You will have proven technical skills, a methodical approach to tasks set and excellent communication skills.

This is a physical role that requires a flexible approach to working hours (with a requirement to be on call out of hours on a rota basis) and will involve working on and off site.
