Job Title:
WORKING WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR
Details:
Based at our Hinderclay branch, you will provide a comprehensive technical service including pre-delivery inspections, maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair and rectification of agricultural machinery. You will be mainly workshop based and, in the absence of the Service Manager carry out the supervision of the workshop schedule, assist with Service dept administration and ensure your own and all other team members’ compliance with Company policies and procedures incl. health & safety.

In this role, customer relationship management is of paramount importance e.g. maintaining contact with customer throughout and after the job as appropriate.

As Working Workshop Supervisor, you will support trainee technicians and apprentices in their training and development and assist the Service Manager with ongoing analysis of each Technician’s training needs, identifying training required; you will also carry out quality control inspections to assess quality of work carried out.

Ideally, you will have c. 5 years’ experience servicing and repairing tractors (using diagnostic equipment) and you will see this job opportunity as a stepping-stone to a career in management within the Agricultural Machinery Industry.

The role requires a flexible approach to working hours (with a requirement to be on call out of hours on a rota basis) and will involve working on and off site. It is essential that you have a full driving licence.

CHALLENGER SPECIALIST SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Job Title:
DRIVER/GENERAL MAINTENANCE PERSON
Details:
We are looking to recruit a Driver/General Maintenance Person to support our workshop and maintain our branch facilities.

Our core hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

The job involves working mainly outdoors and duties include cleaning and general yard maintenance, loading and unloading of heavy goods, collection and delivery of machinery and parts.

This is a customer-facing role. The successful applicant will be reliable and punctual with good communication skills and a professional approach to tasks set.
Qualifications:
A full, clean driving licence is essential.

Experience of working in an agricultural environment/operating machinery would be a strong advantage.

N.B. This role is physically demanding and involves a significant amount of manual handling.

Job Title:
APPRENTICE SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Details:
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person keen to work towards achieving a work-based apprenticeship; you must be willing to attend College on block release.

You will need to be eager to learn, with good communication skills and a "can do" approach to tasks set. An agricultural background would be an advantage.

Duties will include preparing machinery for delivery, testing, diagnosing and fault finding, repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery. You will also have administration responsibilities.

This is a busy, varied role that requires a flexible approach to working hours. It is a physically demanding role that involves a significant amount of manual handling.
Qualifications:
5 GCSE's (or equivalent) are desired, Grade C or above, to include English and Maths.

Good IT skills are essential.
