PARTS PERSON
Details:
This is a busy, varied role that requires a flexible approach to working hours (with a requirement to be on call out of hours on a rota basis). You will ideally have previous experience in a similar retail, customer-facing role in the agricultural/horticultural industry.

However, we would also consider applications from candidates with a desire to develop a career in agriculture through an apprenticeship after completing a satisfactory probationary period.

Duties include supplying parts and sundries to internal and external customers, data input, administration and maintaining retail showroom area.

A desire to provide excellent customer service is paramount.

This is a physically demanding role that involves a significant amount of manual handling.



Qualifications:
Min Grade C+ in GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths desired.

Basic IT skills e.g. Data Input, Email, Internet.

A full, clean driving licence is also desired.

We are looking to appoint a self-motivated professional, preferably with previous management experience in an agricultural/horticultural environment, to manage the Parts department at our Hinderclay branch.

The successful applicant will have responsibility for managing departmental performance in line with financial budget objectives. You will have excellent communication skills, lead by example and require high standards of performance from your team.

You will need to be eager to learn, with good communication skills and a "can do" approach to tasks set.
